It has been a while since I've posted.  Although I haven't been clicking away, I thought I'd share with you some pictures of what I have been doing in the last few weeks.

Last week, I went to a rose garden with a few students.  Here are some pictures I took on my iPhone.

I've loved going fishing with my brothers and look forward to going much more this fall.  Don't be deceived, I didn't catch any of these.  They were caught by my brothers.

Puyallup River

For about the last year, I've wanted to learn woodworking.  Here I am sanding building blocks for my niece.

Baking has been another priority, and I've made these Lemon Blueberry Bread loaves as mini loaves, muffins, and full loaves.  My older brother loves them and keeps asking for more.  Click the link to see the recipe.

Finally, although summer seems to have just arrived, the leaves are beginning to fall.

Spider Webs

I find spider webs to be a fascinating thing.  This is not to say that I like spiders.  I don't.  But the design of the webs are truly amazing.

Castello De Armorosa

We took a tour of an Italian castle today.  It was built of bricks from many European countries and those that could not be acquired there when chiseled by hand on site.

Jordan Vineyards

Jordan and I went around the Russian River Valley today.  We ended up at Jordan Vineyards and enjoyed the beautiful countryside.  These were taken with my iPhone.

Merry Edwards Vineyards

We went wine tasting to the vineyards of Merry Edwards.  It was delicious.  I also enjoyed walking through the vineyards, although the grapes are far from ripe.

I always enjoy photographing flowers.  These were found on the patio of the Merry Edwards tasting room.

San Francisco: Japanese Garden

Today, we went to San Francisco.  I didn't bring along my camera, so I took pictures near the end of the day at the Japanese Garden.

A Drive

Today I took a couple girls for a drive.  I was taking them photographing.  We did an exercise that after 10 minutes of driving, you stop, no matter where you are, and take photographs.  This is what I took.
